Originally from Central New York. Mike has a BA in Sculpture and Design from the California College of Arts & Crafts, and a MFA in Graphic Design from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Currently he works as the Primary for Mike Scaringe Design working with businesses, artists, and creative teams to generate forward-thinking solutions to visual problems. Clients include UC Berkeley Art + Design, SF Ballet, BAS Research, 2NDNATURE, and lazy Moon Ranch.

Michael is the former Senior Marketing Designer at Kanopy as well as 2D Studio Operational Manager at the California College of the Arts. Where he focused on designing and implementing hybrid spaces that would cross pollenate the studios of Graphic Design, illustration, Paint & Drawing, as well as Fashion. Currently he works as the Alumni Assistant at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. He also travels to lead workshops concerning typography, graphic design, image making, identity design, UI/UX and motion graphics.
