Arts & Humanities Brand Expansion

UC Berkeley has concrete branding guidelines across 130 departments. Proudly, as its largest department, Art and Humanities wanted to design new collateral that would stand apart from the current branding without breaking the rules (we love a good rebel.).

 

What came of out of this exploration was an expanded use of geometric shapes as to symbolize the diversity of courses and the reach the department has both on campus and out in the world. I'm excited to continue to explore this further with their department over the course of the summer.
